Count Dracula runs Hotel Transylvania, a luxurious hidden resort where monsters can escape the human
world. But when an ordinary traveller named Jonathan accidentally discovers the hotel during Mavis’s
118th birthday celebrations, Dracula must disguise him as a monster—only for an unexpected spark to
develop between Jonathan and his daughter. Directed by Genndy Tartakovsky, this colourful animated
comedy features the voices of Adam Sandler, Selena Gomez, Andy Samberg, Kevin James, Steve
Buscemi, Fran Drescher and David Spade. Released in 2012, Hotel Transylvania earned more than $358
million worldwide and launched a hugely successful franchise, becoming a firm family favourite and a
modern Halloween classic.
